ABOUT US:

Hi! I’m Andrew Bukharitsin.

I am a professional photojournalist. My professional preferences are Press, Documentary, Sports, Art and Nature Outdoor genres.  I was born in 1974 in St. Petersburg. Until 1991, grew up and studied in the city of Astrakhan, where studied at the regional photo-club «Delta», where received my first professional photographic experience. Since 1992 live and work in Moscow. Studied at the Moscow Aviation Institute, where qualified as an aerospace engineer, and also graduated from the «Photojournalism» course at Moscow State University at the «Faculty of Journalism».

– For a long time worked technical specialist in russian representation of the Nikon Europe BV.

– Since 2006 is a free photographer and work with many known companies, agencies and editing of paper and magazines.

– Also since 2007 is a teacher of the «Digital Photography» and «Digital Retuching» in VGIK Institute, read master-classes and course of «Digital Photography for beginning» at many photoschools, such as «Photofabrika» on «Red October», «ArtpeopleMoscow», «Photo-class» in the «TASS» archive and lead individual occupations, master-classes and other programs.

– Since 2011 is a teacher of the «Technics and technology of advertising photography» in college MPPC Fedorova.

– Since 2017 is a free photographer and work with many known companies, agencies and editing of paper and magazines.

– Since 2019, he has been a part-time photojournalist at the «Main Events» news agency.

– Since 2021, he has been a part-time photojournalist at the «Federal News Service» agency.

– Since 2023, he has been a part-time photojournalist at the «The Moscow LifeStyle» magazine.

– Since 2023, he has been a full-time photojournalist at the Central Federal Editorial Office of «Solidarnost»  and the joint editorial office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the «Press Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia».

PHOTO CONTESTS WINNER:

– (2024) Grand Prix in the I.Y. Semerikov open international photo contest «Heirs of traditions: peoples of the Volga region», in the nomination «Faces of the Volga region» for a series of works «Fishermen».
